Within walking distance of Reading Food Market, main streets (Walnut and Chestnut Av.) and China Town. Good room, friendly and helpfull staff and good breakfast.

The hotel was very nice but the staff was even better!! Good Job!!

    Exceptional

Hotel staff took their time and gave each person undivided due time. When I had an additional question, I was more than happy to wait my turn because I knew that the staff was helping others in the manner that I was helped; furthermore, I would get that level of detailed attention when it was my turn again. Excellent restaurant suggestions! Fresh Gourmet food in Chinatown within blocks, as well as the Market for practically anything your stomach could possibly desire! The children enjoyed the indoor pool, and the "Open Hot Chocolate Bar".

Not a thing. At one point, we were waiting for the childrens' roll-away beds to be delivered to our room, after just one call to request the beds, in addition to the check-in, we were called to the desk as we returned from dinner, and given the option instead to be placed in a suite with two rooms, at no additional charge. That was very generous, and unexpected, and we did partake of their offer.

Everything. Location near the city hall, metro and shopping, cleanliness, the breakfast with hot waffles... It is not a top notch luxury hotel, but for the price you pay, it is really good.

    The coffee could be better.

Nice hotel in a convenient location for a visit to Philadelphia.

    Expensive parking lot.

This hotel is unique in that it includes a decent breakfast in its price and has a coffee/tea lounge that is very useful for visitors to the hotel residents or just for relaxing and chatting/playing boardgames, etc. we were delayed there during Hurricane Irene and the hotel had a wonderful family/community feel about it. The staff were amazing - very supportive of the situation...provided umbrellas and indoor games to pass time while waiting out the storm. The hotel is only a few blocks from the main shop and restaurants which is great because it is quieter than if it was right on the main street.

Friendly helpful staff throughout our stay from the lovely girl at the check in desk to the concierge who recommended decent places to eat and got us a taxi when needed. A clean spacious room awaited with a nice view. Excellent choice at breakfast and leisure facilities were great, we also really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee after a day walking around Philadelphia. All round a very enjoyable stay!

    Exceptional

Hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. Location is great, a few minutes from historical part of down town. Private parking next to hotel (a little bit expensive, but you don't have to worry about car). Before trip, I read some negative reviews about bad breakfast, unsafe neighborhood and bugs that bit people in the room:) Well.... I have never had excellent breakfast in ***-stars hotels, we were bit by bugs are outside of hotel in town (actually this is normal for summer); and people, who think that there is unsafe neighborhood, have never seen really unsafe neighborhood:) I can not say anything about pool and gym, I was in there to see town, not for swim work out.

    breakfast,not good fruits.

It's clean and full of services. Very good breakfast. Very sweet person at the reception.

It's very close to Chinatown, maybe the evening seems not so safetiful

they didnt honor my reservation. i had to call you to straighten it out. which you did.

  • 8.2
    Fabulous

It is essential but there's everything you need. It is comfortable and the location is quiet

Just a dirty spot on the bed linen

  • 10.0
    Exceptional

The staff. Among the amenities, and adjusting to the 5:30 evacuation call that endured 2.5 hours, every, every staff member encountered, even during stress and excessive hours, was respectful and polite. The facilities were clean (and I am a fizz budget in this regard).

The price was a tad excessive but the quiet, protected, professional adjectives apply especially when considering some inner city facilities cause clients to hesitate booking.

    Fabulous

The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was included. There is an indoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. The hotel is within walking distance of the main sites and very close to Chinatown.

The high speed internet wasn't very high speed. The breakfast while free and plentiful wasn't particularly high quality
